Incumbent Rene ‘Coach’ Placencia, Republican is rated a 2-LEAF lawmaker. He has not shown himself to be a friend of the Pro-Cannabis community, but votes with the majority. He is being challenged by Nina Yoakum, Democrat. We have no information from Nina to share.
Melony Bell isn't a fan of Cannabis reforms; but the Democratic candidate isn't forthcoming with their support.
Just like the 1920's and voting rights, many Cannabis users/supporters are ready and willing to leave a multitude behind so they can avoid arrest or profiteer from the industry.
