Florida Cannabis Action Network volunteers spend a lot of time calling candidates leading up to the elections. Each election season nearly 30% of the Florida House and Senate are new to the process. They were elected in November and by December their constituents expect them to hit the ground running.

During the 2018 calls, we have identified 18 members of the Florida House and Senate who earned a five leaf rating with Florida CAN. These lawmakers understand the value of cannabis as medicine, support research and patients rights, but also believe adults can use cannabis socially. More importantly, these lawmakers want to work to make that happen.
