Full-spectrum Hemp is under assault by radical prohibitionists in Congress
We must “Strike the Ban.”
On November 12, 2025 President Trump signed the continuing budget resolution ending the longest federal shut-down in history. Contained within the language was a poison pill for the growing hemp industry.
November 14, 2025, Cynthia Brewer broke down the new federal prohibition on Episode #23 of Elevated Intel.
- This new law requires the FDA and HHS to create a white list and a black list of Cannabinoids.
- It bans all synthetics and converted Cannabinoids derived from hemp plants.
- It limits full-spectrum products by all but eliminating even trace amounts of THC in hemp products.
Watch the November 19, 2025, special edition of Elevated Intel. Florida business owners, Carlos Hermida, Jammie Treadwell, and Colette Florido, share how the hemp ban will impact their businesses. Carlos is the proud owner of Chill’em, a retail store in St. Pete and Ybor City. Jammie Treadwell manages the Treadwell Farms Hemp brand, creating unique blends of Cannabinoids fresh from the plant. Colette Florido is FLCAN’s VIP and the owner of CR World, a distributor of custom CBD-rich hemp blends for wellness.

We will only restore whole plant medicine when we Come Together. Join FLCAN at the Florida Capitol on January 14 and 15. We can protect the Florida Hemp Industry from this federal ban. Be seen, be heard.
Reserve your spot at Cannabis at the Capitol in Tallahassee, January 14 and 15.
