Senate District 29
August 18, 2020 State Representative Tina Polsky won the Democratic primary. This seat belonged to Kevin Rader, a real Cannabis hero. Senator Rader was a strong voice for sensible Cannabis reforms.
The district leans Democrat, so whoever wins the primary is likely to hold the victory and take the Seat in November’s general election.
As a Representative Tina Polsky did more than just vote the party line. She introduced the Employee Protection bill in 2020, showing she has a strong understanding of what patients need. Tina hasn’t spoken out publicly about legalization, but her support of Medical Marijuana, Industrial Hemp, and her introduction of a good bill makes her a solid 4-LEAF rating.
The opponent, Republican Brian Norton was not available for comment.
