It’s High Time – Just do it!
It’s High Time to Take Action:
SEND A LETTER TO THE GOVERNOR ASKING HIM TO VETO SB1698
If you followed the legislative session you know at the last minute the Florida Legislature exchanged HB 1613 for SB 1698. Although law-makers amended it, it is the same bad bill.
- SB 1698 is the Senate version of the bill that will eliminate any safety controls on Delta 8/10/O/P by outlawing them in Florida.
- SB 1698 will cap THC content in hemp products to 5 mg per dose and 50 mg per container.
- SB 1698 will have a chilling effect on festivals aimed at the Cannabis Community by leveling heavy fines on organizers.
- SB 1698 will burden community events where hemp businesses support farmer’s markets, non-profit fairs, and fundraisers by adding extra red tape.
Ask Governor DeSantis to Veto SB 1698

Cooper, Poole, and Frankin V US Justice Department is in a holding pattern waiting on the US Supreme Court. The Court heard a similar gun rights case from New Orleans last year. The US Eleventh District Court of Appeals will give lawyers in our case an opportunity to write a brief on the impact of the new ruling. Cooper, Poole, and Franklin are members of FLCAN who are suing the Justice Department for their Second Amendment right as it relates to having both a gun and a medical marijuana card.
