Incumbent Rene ‘Coach’ Placencia, Republican is rated a 2-LEAF lawmaker. He has not shown himself to be a friend of the Pro-Cannabis community, but votes with the majority. He is being challenged by Nina Yoakum, Democrat. We have no information from Nina to share.
This district could have a Pro-Cannabis champion if we can get out the vote for Joshua Lopez.
In my circle of friends and family the first rule we came up with was: don’t steal other people’s lighters. Of course, one should always bring pot to a pot party, if at all possible.
