House District 55 is an open seat. Former Representative Cary Pigman was term-limited this year. The district in Glades, Highlands and Okeechobee re-elected Pigman despite his actions on medical marijuana.

None of the candidates on either ballot care enough to be pro-Cannabis. Republican Kaylee Tuck and Democrat Linda Tripp are joined by a write-in candidate.
