about cannabis pass you by! If you are in a long line, a slow
elevator ~ on a bus, a plane or a train...talk about this wonderful
plant. Learn more about cannabis and share what you learn.

and a crummy war- we don't need to embellish ~ the facts are on our

| Write a Congress Critter - It is easy to locate your
Congressional representative using the Internet. Take a minute
and write a letter asking her or him to support a controlled system of
distribution for cannabis. A legal adult market takes the huge profits
out of the current market and removes cannabis from the crime and
violence associated with the illegal drug market. Better yet
make a visit to their local office. Even if you think (or know)
they disagree- make the trip- elected officials have been know to
change their votes. |
| Tell Tallahassee- We have compiled 10 years worth of
data on the Florida House and Senate. Contact your
representatives today and ask them to move this state in line with the
rest of the US on cannabis laws. Florida has the harshest
penalties of any state in the country.

| Participate - Join one of the many on line
reform communities. Get to know the laws in your state, remember
the one minute rule and be a joiner. Join a religious or
political group, do the PTA. Be the best pothead you can be.
Give up the Cheech and Chong image ~ be proud of your connection to
this miraculous plant and invite the world to be a better place by
legalizing cannabis.

| Organize - People just like you make up
Florida CAN. There is no full time staff, there is some very
knowledgeable, dedicated volunteers. Hold a debate, a
fun(d)raiser, a house party, create a chapter, host a letter writing
party. Get people together to educate the public about cannabis
and cannabis reform. We'll do our best to get one of the awesome
CAN speakers to your event. |
